WiFi calling now working on factory unlocked Priv. Our of the box it didn't. But downloaded news updates and Priv told me calls would now be made over WiFi calling. Pleasant surprise.

Your SIM will give you the T-Mo logo. Have you looked at various menus, like "Phone"? Or settings? I set up a friend's Android recently for WFC and we had to locate the correct menu.
I put my TMO SIM in my unlocked AT&T PRIV, and within a couple of hours the phone was prompting me to select a wifi system for WFC. No dfuss, no muss.

    Right. That's a Priv. We're talking Dtek50.

Does band 12 VoLTE also work? If so then TM has whitelisted the Dtek 60

I really need to know the answer to this. I want to buy the DTEK 60 but I won't without Band 12 confirmation.

It may not work since it needs the "app" for it to support it, and it might not download when turned on. I used a non T-Mobile branded Android phone and, even though it said I was going to download carrier specific application after finishing the setup, no WFC was available.

Anyone able to confirm this yet?

Is there a chance Tmo has white listed the device because the Alcatel Idol 4S is rumored to be offered by Tmo?

There is a setting that can be turned on or off, by default it was on, it says :
    Voice over LTE settings
IMS PS voice preferred, CS voice secondary
Anyone notice since the last update this can no longer be found on the DTEK50? Maybe I'm just missing this but it looks like these options are gone now.

Just noticed it for the first time on my Z10. Thought it had something to do with HD calling.

But it's on when I'm on wifi-calling, even set to wifi only. Seems odd.
