A PC mag review said the following. Is this true? Does "after 60 days" mean "60 days after signing a contract"? If I could use cheap prepaid SIM cards rather than getting a pricey Verizon's int'l plan, it would be really attractive.

Thanks in advance for any info!

"If if you want to use a foreign SIM card and number at lower rates, you can call Verizon to unlock your phone's SIM slot after 60 days."

verizon wont automatically unlock your sim after 30 days. you should call them and tell them you are traveling internationally and you would like to unlock your phone so you can use a local sim, and they should unlock it for you no problem.
