- I have 2 Sprint lines that share minutes and each have their own $30 unlimited Data plans (one is a BB and the other is a WinMo smartphone) I am going to upgrade the WinMo to a BB.
Will Sprint allow the Data Pack to be switched to a BB Data plan or will they force me into a new plan? I don't see the $30 deal offered on the website.
My current plan works great for me and it would be a shame to be forced into giving it up especially since every other plan seems to cost more.08-17-09 07:26 AMLike 0 - I don't think so they just upgrade ur account as sprint doesn't charge u for having a bb. Drop a line to cs when in doubt but I do think so.

- Well......did the upgrade for the wife and got the Tour today. Checked the phone and it shows it was refurbished July 28, 2009! I paid for it as new. Should I complain and request a new one or do the reserve the right to send out refurbs? Maybe this is the leverage I need to get my $30 unlimited plan swithed to a $30 BB plan.

The refurbished thing was a little different...... here is part of the transcript from the chat (after I told him it says Refurbished under the Options>About menu):
