I live in Monterey, CA. There is a dead spot for 3G on a major street where I drive a few times a day.

If I start at point A and go to point B in 3G my phone will always get a call failed.

However, if for some reason I start at the same point A in EDGE and go to the same point B, the call never dies.

What can I do about this?? Who should I call at ATT to let them know about the problem.

I have a Bold and it kills me but there is no other way to get to that part of town.

When I had a curve (or if I use my curve for testing) it works fine.

It's just a two block area where there is no 3G and only EDGE and it just cant seem to go from 3G to EDGE.

Any help on how to convince ATT to go out there and look at the problem would be greatly appreciated!!

Call AT&T and have them file a "Network Incident Tracker"

Also if you speak to tier 2 tech support, they will probably file a ticket to see if it is indeed that there isn't 3g or needs to be reset.
