    Hey All,

I have a few users that are travling to Dubai in the upcoming weeks. ATT says there is roaming coverage there for phone and BlackBerry capabilities but before I just take their word for it I wanted to get opinions of others that have traveled there. Anything I should tell them as far as not receiving BB coverage? They both have a BB8800.

    Thanks!
    Jeremy

Yes, AT&T has roaming agreements with ETISALAT, the sole wireless provider in Dubai. The signal strength and coverage are simply superb and it automatically switches to the Etisalat network.

BUT, keep in mind, it is very very expensive.

I spent 2 days in Dubai and might've made 5-6 phone calls..and my next invoice had a charge of $32 !

Can you purchase a temporary SIM card there and use it to avoid the expensive roaming charges if you have an unlocked BB?
