So the most current Consumer Reports has ratings for the Wireless Providers.

Now granted, this is based on over 13,000 responses from (one assumes) people who read CR, so it may be a little biased and unfair as far as the Providers are concerned - rather like comments at Crackberry, one guesses.

Still, like here, its the users who are using the service that reported in - not tweaked data from the Providers.

So, how did Rogers do? Well, second to last (Bell worse) with a margin of error that makes it pretty interchangeable.

SaskTel and Virgin were #1 and #2, some 10 points and clearly better reported service and experience than their nearest rivals - MTS, Fido, Telus, Rogers and Bell following along behind.

Koodo didn't make the cut at all, but interesting otherwise that the 'discount brands' (Virgin, Fido) scored higher than the parent companies, n'est pas? Maybe that's the result of the CR readers again - expecting bang for their buck over promised glitz?

Goodness knows there will always be horror stories / positive experiences for users with each Provider - but perhaps its telling that for the second year in a row Rogers has stumbled along near the bottom of the Consumer Reports review.
