    I was just checking around online today and found out they changed unlimited calling from 9pm to 6pm, its a promo....

    But yeah, I just got this plan less then a month ago, going to try to call up and see if i can get the 6pm. But on the site it states "6pm evenings and weekend calling offer is available on 1, 2 or 3 year service agreement for new activations only until December 31, 2009." So i dont know if i could get it, but worth a try..

    I saw this earlier today - I'm still within my 30 days of being able to back out of the contract, so I'm going to cancel and re-sign - they said there wouldn't be a problem with that.

    It's not only for new in, it works with upgrade too(I'm a Telus sales rep in Quebec)

    you can cancel the contract if you didint pass the 30days yet without ecf?

    You can back out of the contract within 30 days of signing it, without the ECF penalty.

    im having so much problems with telus. i just signed a 3 year term with them 2 weeks ago, and when i called in, i found out i lost the 50 bonus mins, and lost nights and weekend calling because i made a small change to my account by adding a $15 value pack for unlimt text with call display, and changed the plan feature from unlimit text to my five.

    shes like, what i could do is give you back your 50 bonus mins and free after 9pm. and thats all. i was pissed, and im like is that really fair? no body told me i would lose anything for addeding a feature and chaning a part of my plan feature? switched from rogers to telus and this is what i get? so after half hour talk she gaved back my 50 bonus mins, with unlmit after 6pm. She also said she left a note in my file saying this is a one time deal, cant get anything else free.

    Wow... that sucks. I guess it all depends who you get from L&R. I called, and I pretty much didn't even have to say anything. She pulled up my account, kinda knew i was inquiring about the unlimited eve's and weekends'. And ensured that I still had the 50 bonus minutes, etc on my account.

    Same here. I signed 3 weeks ago. Called up last night and they added it for me no problem. "Because you've been with us 1999".
    Maybe they were just blowing smoke up my you know what, but who cares.

    I switched back to the CDMA Network to a 9550 and they gave me this offer...

    I was paying $7 a month to have the early calling starting at 5pm, but for free...i'll gladly suffer for the extra hour

    Ok so I have had a blackberry curve since August 2008. Have had 3 replacements due to various issues. Last one was on July. The Rep I spoke to @ that time stated on my file that if I have problems with my new phone that I can start my 3yr contract over with the 3yr promotional pricing. So I am starting to have issues with my phone again ...

    1st call got aswome an rep named Nicole over in BC. She put me thru to Kyle to help me out with getting a new phone. He offered said he would take my current price plan:

    $17.20 EPP plan (includes: VM, CD, and 200 mins + 50 bonus)
    $15 unlimited data plan for my bb.

    Kyle would ADD Fav5 Nationwide for the troubles and offered to let me renew my 3yr contract and it would cost me $350 for a new blackberry Storm 2. ($250 off the no contract price). Great I was very happy.

    I checked mytelusmoblity account and saw something that should not be there so I called to inquire ... it was a bonus that got added this month for some reason or another. Then the I spoke to this time was the same as the last one surprisingly enough. She took at a look and read what an agent in July (toby) wrote stating that they would do the three year promotional pricing. She suggested i send off an email thru there website or she could try and get another retention specialist. She got a different one and transferred me over to Michelle.

    Michelle tells me that I am lucky I didn't go and get my new phone tonight because once my plan and unlimited data are removed to start a new plan there is not way they can get it back into their system. So now as a customer back from the Clearnet days she is basically telling me if I wanted to keep the plan I would have to purchase the phone for the non contract price and call them to put it on my account.

    So she tells me that the best she can do is:

    Smartphone 50
    gives me 150 mins (she would add an extra 100 for free to give me the mins I had before)
    free weekends night at 6pm
    VM CD and unlimited txt messaging
    500 megs of data.
    3yr promo price on Storm 2

    Needless to say i am sooooo screwed now!!! Because all her notes are now on my file so if i go and upgrade I know what the result would be.

    So now i go from $42.50 to $56.50 and no unlimited data.

    Any suggestions on my next course of action? Or should I suck it up and take it up the a** like a man?
