If you made payment and have proof, I would call At&t at 800-331-0500
all you would have to do is fax a copy of your bank statement or credit card statement to att billing department.
Call them and explain it to them. My phone got turned off because my husband forgot to pay the bill (and boy was I MAD!) and he called and explained the situation and they turned my phone right back on, didn't even charge us a reconnection fee. And this was in a situation where the bill really wasn't paid...if they did it for us, you should be golden since you did pay, and have proof that you paid
take your receipt to the store and if that doesn't work then call customer care from the store and let the rep tell them you have your receipt in hand. If you can prove it there shouldn't be a problem
Contact AT&T at 1-800-331-0500 and advised them that you have made the payment but it appears to be misapplied, a payment case will be set and you will need to fax in that proof of payment (such as the reciept, Bank Statement and yes you can white out non pertaining information such as other transactions) along with your account number, case number and they will get that payment fixed for you and get the account turned back on
was it actually cancelled or just suspended? if it was totally cancelled you would have to have went a long time w/o paying it, and one missed payment wouldn't have warranted it being cancelled.
