ok I switched from Bell to Rogers when I got my bold (yesterday)
I still have the temporary number they assigned me as my number from bell has not been transfered over yet. they said it could take up to 1 week to transfer... ok so here is my question, I have tried adding BB messenger friends and they all say "pending" and I also tried hooking up my gmail account and it wont... is this because I have a temporary number and will it work once my proper number is assigned or am I doing something really wrong... sorry I am a newbie with lots of questions

Call Rogers. Unrelated. The number port shouldnt take more than 24 hours (sister just did it on Telus to Rogers this weekend)
