Hey to all, I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed ROGERS' website posting the data promo on 3G phones. They specify that this promo offer is available on a specific list of 3G phones.

iPhone� 3G
Nokia N95
Samsung Jack
Palm Treo
Motorola Q9h
HTC TyTN

They then have a disclamer that says: 3G Smartphone Data Plan is only available on a 36-month data term. Activations on Blackberry devices apply to Blackberry Internet Service only. (sorry BES)

No BB in the list, but of course we know its the BOLD..
I know we all know the offical unofficial date of July 25, but it gives us CLEAR confirmation that the BOLD will be out before the cutoff of August 31!

The new promo 6GB data plan is for all smartphones.

Number 2, those phones you listed aren't even all 3G.

Just to add to this,

I called Rogers yesterday and had the $30 6GB plan added to my BB Pearl. They said that the $30 price was only available until the end of summer. And yes it had to be on a 36 month term. Hope this helps.

Just finished with the Rogers CSR. I also had the 6GB plan added to my Curve. $30 is a great price, although not unlimited, I am fairly sure I will not go over this plan.
