I don't know how the rates are in the states (I guess you can browse this forum and find other BlackBerry users and the prices they pay for their plans) but I'm assuming BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) can't be that much more expensive (guessing 10-15 dollars more?)? It is totally worth it for what you're getting with your BlackBerry. I use to work for Apple and they tell you never to bash/insult the competition (Windows) but come on, Windows Mobile over BlackBerry? (j/k...) Hah!

T-Mobile has unlimited email and data for $19.99, and Verizon has unlimited email and data for $29.99. Not sure about AT&T or Sprint.

When upgrading my phone recently, I was comparing the Q and the 8830. The 8830 won hands down in my book. The Q was at least two versions behind and several of the options on the 8830 seemed to integrate much better (this coming from carrying an X50v PDA along with my phone for the last few years). Now I just carry the 8830.

I know the unlimited service fee is $10 more than the Q's service. So far, I feel that the choice to go with my B was well worth the small additional service charge.

There is a 24.95 plan available through US Cellular. Talk to your sales rep about it.

Yeah I got the unlimited personal as well for 25 per month. Its nice. I did call support today to verify I was on the unlimited though because I've been streaming a lot of data with google maps, which is awesome on satellite view.

Thank god I saw this posting today... I've been paying $39 since last year. I called and got it changed to the $24.95 unlimited. She first told me its mainly for must email and that the $39 is for internet. yah right!! I asked her again, that I read differently, and she had me on hold and came back and said yes that's right. It's unlimited data just like the other plan.

How crazy that we never got notice of the change in price, and that she would deny it on the phone ???

When did they change the pricing?
