On the Sim Card screen, you won't see a field to type into, just type those letters on your QWETY keyboard, then you will you will have to type in MEP2 next, then somehow you need to get hold of that 16 digit number, hope you got a friend who works for T-Mobile! Of Course you need that long digit first, don't be like me and mess up your Sim Card........ oh, wait a minute too late, you already did, at least we know the code now every time the sim is removed!03-31-08 11:29 PMLike 0 - got denied for unlock until 90 days after activation. frustrating because "Samantha" sounded like it was a done deal when i requested it yesterday. makes me less likely to stay with t-mobile after contract finishes. should i persist with the request or is it futile?04-01-08 12:20 PMLike 0

You have a trip to Italy next week and want to use Italian sim cards in your phone there.
Stick to it. Do not give up. That 90 day is BS. Your not breaking contract.
You WILL get it.04-01-08 07:16 PMLike 0 -
- So guys, I read on page 17 or 18 from someone that if it says Security Disabled, it means that the phone is in unlocked mode. So here is mine. I would like to know if it's unlocked. I haven't done anything yet. So is it unlock?

It only took less that 24 hours for me to receive my Email and everything worked smoothly....Just an idea I threw out there for the people not really wanting to spend money on unlocking your phone...You will have to give them some info about your BB but they run you through the process and they are quite friendly about the whole situation...If anyone tries this let me know how it went for you , because it worked like a charm for me...so GOOD LUCK and HAPPY Curving!! - Kris04-02-08 07:44 AMLike 0

Oh, even though I still don't have the unlock code yet, I tried MEPD and MEP2, it didn't bring up the prompt? I do get to the MEPD screen as shown on my image above.
Thanks.04-02-08 08:40 AMLike 0 - Ok. I remember somewhere on the thread, an advice was given to contact the provider, in my case, ATT. However, someone asked previously what to tell to the ATT CSR but I didn't see the response. I'm planning to call them later but I don't know what I should tell them. Can someone please help?
Thanks.
