It's a tough call, and really depends on your personal preferences. I can't be any clearer than that.

    Do you need global features?

You you prefer a physical keyboard or do would you like a large touchscreen?

Do you like trackballs or trackpads better?

I agree, what phone do you have now? Do you like a keyboard? What features do you need? I originally had a storm but traded for a tour which I love. The storm was a great phone but I had to have a keyboard. Good luck and let us know what you decide on.

The original storm is a great phone since the 5.0 OS updates and was my first blackberry and I love it. I'm sure they don't have them in the stores anymore and I haven't gotten to play with a storm 2. But to me, you can't really go wrong with a storm nowadays.

I had a Storm1 and loved it...but memory issues did frustrate me. I recently upgraded to a Storm2 and love it too. I'm a big fan of the click screen.

It does all depend on you and your needs. I have a Curve, Tour, Storm1 and Storm2. I like the Tour but love my Storm2. I never put it down.

    Storm2. Period.

More memory, Wi-Fi, piezo-electric SurePress technology, and an included 16GB memory card. Plus, it runs rings around the S1 if you upgrade the OS to .464 on the S2.

How many megapixles do you need your camera to be? If you can get by with 2, and no flash, go with the curve 8520. It has wifi, factory 5.0 OS (threaded SMS!)....

If you can handle a touch screen, by all means get the storm 2. But if you need a physical keyboard but want a better camera and can live without wifi, get the Tour. After you get it though make sure you put 5.0 on there. Huge difference!

If it were me I wouldn't even go with a BB. I would look into the Samsung Knack. Large buttons, dedicated ICE button, and large display.

But if you must have a BB then I would recommend the Storm 2. If you could hold off until the Tour 2 I would say wait. I think that phone is gonna be pretty good and hopefully a few of the minor issues from the Tour will be addressed.

Jitterbug actually purchases it's time from no other than VZW... also look at the website. Looks very similar to Big Red... hmm I wonder!

Is the Tour 2 going to have wifi? When is the release date? Why doesn't the tour have wifi now being a more expensive phone? Sorry for all the questions but I am new to the BB nation. Still tring to figure out which one I am going to get Curve or Tour. If the tour had wifi I don't think there would be a question.

The first BB with WiFi was the Storm 2 and then the Curve 2. The Tour was released before VZW had WiFi on Blackberry's. The Tour is not more expensive, they all retail about the same.

Tour 2 will have WIFI, release date within the next month pretty sure if not less. Tour is more expensive as its one of the top of the Line Blackberrys.

It's been all detailed here. I've had two Pearls (both 8100 and 8130), two Curves (including the 8900) and two Storms (versions 1 & 2) and a Tour and I can say they all work good and it mostly depends on user preference. My two favorites are the 8900 and the Storm. I could see little difference in the 8900 and Tour (except the 8900 had Wi-Fi). all great machines.
