So I'm heading off to Europe for a couple of weeks and I want to insert an international sim card into my world edition blackberry once i get there ( as per the great International calling 101 I read in this forum from FERRIS - thanks).

I called my provider (Bell) and asked if they could get me the unlock code and they said "it's already unlocked" .... hmmmm - can this be true?

and i thought - how do I know if it's unlocked before I get over there and discovered that (as usual) Bell's support people havent been at the top of their game.

anybody know?
