If you're looking to upgrade or get the Passport, you could try Best Buy or Future Shop instead of the corporate kiosks or stores. Most corporate outlets can get one within a day or 2 if you order. They don't carry them in stock due to unknown demand. (That's what I was told).

I got mine at Future Shop. Seems they get Telus devices but you need to order in advance for the other carriers. I'm in the Montreal area.
