What OS are you guys running? I updated to .247, I wonder if it's because I'm NOT running the latest Orange OS. However, I'm not going to downgrade to find out!
Hi.... i am also orange and cant get my bold to download the app world... im getting the same error message as both of you... I then called orange and not a single person had even heard of the app world and they then said there was no way that they could help!!
Hey i seem to be having the same problem. Only got my 8900 last week so i'm pretty sure the operating system sould be fine!
Also going into an orange store won't help as i work in an orange store and we've been told bugger all about it. 150 from your phone(its free) should probably have some kind of update in a while tho.
Yeah im having same problem with my Bold on Orange UK. Think its running v4.6.0.162 but it does say platform 4.0.0.155 after that dont know if that makes any difference. Ive only tried downloading straight from my phone so when i get a chance i'll try from desktop but by the looks of things its a problem with Orange. I'll just have to keep checking these pages to see if anyone has any success because i haven't got the time or the patience to phone Orange.
Doesn't work for me either. Vodafone and T-Mob are having probs too. Why say UK when none of the networks are supporting it, I feel cheated. Orange com'on sort it out we want a piece of the action too :-(

I've just tried downloading via BB and via USB desktop link - same prob - says unknown error and that 'your device does not support this' - have checked version running etc etc (it's curve 8900) and all up to date.
Seems to be a problem with Orange from reading posts here - does anyone know of an Orange/BB support no or email??
Well I rang the 156 tech support number, they say they are fully aware and have had many calls today, he said they are currently looking into it. He said to give it at least 24hrs but I couldn't take anything he said seriously after he called my device the 8900 pearl!!
I was having issues also. I am on AT&T Running 4.6.0.221. I was wondering why I couldn't do it. I finally figured it out! Try this. Open up Browser, then do this Options-->Cache Operations-->Then clear all of the Content Cache, Pushed Content, Cookie Cache. Then I went back to BlackBerry App World website and did the download and it worked!
Working for me too now, didn't do anything to the phone just re-visited the page and the download worked. I guess Orange got the issue resolved at their end!
