asurion insurance

I purchased the s2 from ebay, does it still qualify for insurance? The rep I spoke to today said asurion does not cover a phone not bought from vzw.

Thats is correct. The phone has to be bought from your carrier.

No it must be purchased through vzw and insurance placed on phone within 30 days of purchase

whenever you buy from ebay, insurance and warranties are pretty much done. Thats why it is great is you can purchace from your carrier or authorized retailer.
