Still down in The Bahamas...
So, i was an avid bb user... got caught up in the iPhone stuff, but now want to go back. I have set up a trade on craigslist for a bb 9700(bold). I just read on the internet though that even if I unlock the bb it still wont get 3g on at&t's network. Is this true?
in BC running on rogers network, everything seems to be back up and running
If it is T-Mobile branded, you will not get 3G on AT&T.
Network is back up finally

It seems to have fixed itself yesterday. After running the diagnostics, the 3 BlackBerry tests came up "Yes" and I immediately got a registration confirmation PIN message from BlackBerry.
I called Nextel customer support, they got my e-mail, browser up and running, i asked if they new about any outages and have no idea...what else is new, I'm in Panorama City Ca, 8350i on Nextel.
Its still screwed up for me, tried re registering, battery pulls etc and BBM is still delayed to all H3LL! BBM worked like new for a few hours last night but back to the same delayed crap.
What a joke

big fat NO on Blackberry PIN-PIN diagnostic test. ugh!
Mine is down since late this morning again. On Rogers w/ 9000. I'm calling RIM back w/ the trouble ticket they issued me yesterday. See if I can pry some information as to the cause of these "non-outages" so I can add it to vast amount of theories floating around.

Same here =/
I am having issues again. Now is some lag/delay with my BIS services. At least isn't the same problem as before (no service at all), but I am getting tired of this.
At least RIM can say that they have problems, but they are on mute right now......
Still touch and go out here in Vancity.....BBM lags then it's instant other times. Email still slow....I can't believe there is no info from RIM when this has been felt everywhere!!
Pretty weak in my opinion man....WEAK!
Yup like you said. Bbm touch and go and I cannot get on my native browser. I have to use opera

Now my Blackberry sing at the right of 3G keeps going OFF and ON. I can't believe this.
This is lame now.....
Not even a word from RIM, I know that not all the users have been affected by this, but we are paying for that service too.
Me too, when my BIS is connected, i Have the same problem. Sometimes my BIS isn't even connected....
Can anyone suggest a way to bring this up with a Verizon rep? I've been having problems like this for two months now (email delays for up to 7 hours, for example) and even an OS reinstall didn't help. When I bring this up with Verizon, they insist that there's no problem.
After my call with RIM yesterday afternoon both the 9000 & the 8310 are working. That's the second time I have called them and having them fix something. They would not elaborate on what the problem was, but did say it was not related to the problem I called about the day before. They did mention that since I am running "non-approved" software, I would have to change to an approved OS should I continue to have problems. I am running 5.0.0.411. Hopefully I will not have to call them again in regards to this ticket/problem.

Its not working on Verizon in Albuquerque,NM.
And yet, BBM is still intermittent for me and co workers, sometimes its as fast as I hit send other times it lags out for 10min. When the h3ll is there going to be a service bulletin regarding all this crap?? I've resorted back to SMS for now because BBM is so useless and unreliable the past year, nevermind this past continued issue.

Well seems pretty stable now the past 15hrs. That's nice and all but would have been nice to know what's going on with RIM

9630 on Sprint in Colorado. I've been on the phone with BB support for 45 minutes a few nights ago and then several back and forth email correspondence with tech support and they STILL can't get my BBM working. I can send out messages fine and recipients get them but I don't ever receive anything when they respond. Even BB tech support can't figure out whats going on. Has anyone else had any luck getting their BBM working? Oh btw, browser and push email both work fine.
