I agree think they are batching them to because I haven't got my "test email" yet since I last started geting them just about 30 minutes ago its dead again ,,,batching kinda like them sending mail but not to all at once , a batch of people get them and then another different batch of people get their emails and , etc.

    Sprint side Update with RIM:

Current status: [Update: RIM is currently processing the email queues at this time. All hosted email queues have been
cleared. Customers may continue to experience delays in receiving integrated account emails until email queues are
cleared. Integrated email accounts include Yahoo!, MSN, and GMAIL. All new email is processing normal at this time.
100% of the restart has been completed at this time.]

Emails are coming through sporadically now. There is now a few hours delay between the time the email was sent and it coming through on the berry. (Sprint--Chicago)

Batching is sending out a handful of emails every few minutes. If the issue is resolved and they dispatched all emails out of their system, it would crash and be a worse problem than what we have now. So the spurts, or the some coming every now and then, or one at a time is rim sending a few every few minutes to get all the emails out but not crash their infrastructure.

Contextually, based on some other posts, and also based on what I'm seeing, emails are coming through in batches. Based on what others have been saying, this seems to be a way to accommodate the huge volume of messages that need to be delivered when an outage is in the process of ending.

While I have a better understanding than my post count alludes to, if I've violated some basic principle of how BIS operates in saying this, please forgive the noob.

Still nothing here in DC on Sprint, but the guy sitting next to me also has Sprint and has been getting stuff all day long. I haven't gotten anything since about 2 or 3 this morning...

I've got 2 accounts going to my BB, nothing from either one. I can send email, but I can't receive...
