A test message I Sent at 2:48 from my client's desktop to my yahoo/BB was delivered at 4:02. I just sent out another Test message and it did not immediately get delivered, so the queue must still be quite full.
I've had BIS for just over 2 years and I think this is probably the third or fourth outage that I've experienced. (I believe that only one of the others was when I was even awake.) In an ideal world, the service would never go out, but for all the benefit I get from it, and for as consistently as it does work, I'm still quite pleased.
My dependence on it for work is peripheral, but my personal dependence is addiction-level. (Hence my presence here.) On the whole, I know that day in and day out, I'll be able to depend on a device that will do everything I want for it to, better than any other device out there (BB pride), and only skip the semi-yearly beat.
Imagine the strain on the servers when it gets switched back on.
Like when the blackout ends but everyone has left all their lights and appliances switched on...
Got a few trickling in here, 3-4 hours old, nothing in last hour or so though. Presumably it will catch up in due course but...
Out here on my end as well (Worcester, MA.), sometimes I get it other times I do not. Mobihand sent me an update e-mail for Berryweather.
But when I click on the update link, and put in my e-mail, nothing comes.
