bbm service down. my gchat wasn't working either. it said there was a "data service" problem. i was able to go online and download the new bbm service though. i haven't gotten emails since it's gone down, so idk if that's working or not.

update: sorry i can't go online. idk how i was able to download the new bb messenger w/o going online but i can't pop up anything on my internet browser now.

Service down in Honduras as well...its been like this for about 3-4 hours....getting a check mark but no "D" or "R". Seems to be a worldwide issue.

although less severe, strange to have systems fail again so quickly. 12/17-12/22 is only 5 days, less than a week.

Yeah. My upgrade is in June, I'll be doing my part to reduce RIM server load by going elsewhere. I'm done.

I'll be there too...between spotty BIS service and questionable software, I'll be looking at a new brand in June also.

fkn ditto! I JUST bought my 9700 last night, tried to update and it failed.... I luckily after messing around with it for a few hours i got it to work.

now no BBM and network problems all day.... not a good 48 hours for my new blackberry
