just got off the phone with verizon. i asked if they had a eta for restoration of data. and he said "for the blackberry? rim hasnt given us any explaination as to why its down, and the problem still seems to be spreading further and wider. and no eta has been given to when it will be restored"
i have internet obviously but i pay for a service. i expect it to work. if u pay partial payment they turn ur phone off. frustrating and unacceptable from a big company like rim.
From about 4:30 eastern I've had 1xev. I just plugged my phone into the computer to see if I could get internet and the signal went to 1XEV and I've had a max receive rate of 1,435.7 kbps.
This is completely unacceptable. I've been a blackberry user for about 2 months now and things like this happen WAY too often considering that this is an extra "service" we all pay for. I'm honestly about to send this thing back because something tells me they won't be refunding anyone for this nonsense.
New Mexico on Verizon. Last received email was at 4:30 p.m. Nothing since then. BB is working as a modem and internet is just fine. I thought it was just me!
