Hi, i would like to report that this failure is not only the us it is in the caribbean in my case in the dominican republic wich claro is my service provider, the whole country is going mad and now i see that is the world too

That is COMPLETELY the wrong fix. This is a known server issue... doing ANYTHING to your phone.. WILL NOT HELP... you will just LOOSE EVERYTHING!

It's down in Milwaukee, I can use BerryWeather and Opera as long as I am connected through TCIP/ISP rather than BIS. BB Browser and Facebook are dead. SMS is working from here, just did a check about 20 minutes ago.

In Central Missouri, I can use BOLT browser, but BBM, Y!M, AIM, GoogleTalk, Facebook, and the native BB browser have been out for an hour or two.

Im in Ontario, and were down too..only thing working is my email...really sucks..2nd time this has happened within a week...ughhh although last time it was fixed within a few hours...i wonder whats going on with all these outages?!

Just got off the phone with Verizon...new to Blackberry (less than 24 hours) and thought I had done something wrong as I tried to configure my wifi. It appears that the outage is very sporadic affecting different users in different ways. Although the csr was very apologetic, there is no current estimated time for the problem to be fixed.

Really blows b/c I just got my curve a month ago.....came close to considering Iphone but chose the BB route....
