Somebody please help me.
I've just got my curve 8320 unlocked from t-mo. When i put my ATT sim card (the one with 3g logo), i got new message automatically in my BB inbox.
"453 error invalid number. please resend using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code."
What should I do to fix this. I'm sorry if i repost this problem, because i've tried to search and i can't find one. Thanks for the help.
Looking at the message itself, with out the circumstances, it looks like putting the SIM card may have activated an message to T-Mo and returned back to you since AT&T != T-Mo... but never heard of that!
If it's not recurring and nothing obvious is happen, can probably disregard it, as there are always quirks with unlocked phones on AT&T network.
I had an unlocked 8320 and they only issue I had was getting OZ Messenger onto the device as it was recognizing it as a T-mobile device that wouldn't be capable of being on the AT&T network.
I would start by backing up your data and doing a soft wipe. (Options --> Security Options --> General Settings --> Menu Key --> Wipe Handheld --> Restore from Backup
If that doesn't work, I would do a hard wipe:
* Back-up your data
* Download the OS
* Download JL_CMDER
* Wipe Device
* Restore from Backup
