i heard about a double your data for $5 extra on all data plans, any truth to this?

The BlackBerry 1 MB E-mail Service Plan, the 1 MB Voice and E-mail Packages and the ‘Double Your Data’ promotion have all been discontinued.
The new 4MB plans are not eligible for the 50% off and Unlimited E-mail and Browsing promotions

I'm dumb, whats this data pooling business all about, is that like if I have 25MB and my Gf has 25MB but she only uses 5MB I can use up her other 20MB therefore, not causing me any overage on data?

Exactly, just remember it's $5 per line per month. Data Pooling with Rogers has been around since this past March. Wow Bla1ze, you're not so dumb after all
