    Ok so here is my problem. last weekend my z30 speaker craped out so Verizon sent me a replacement. As soon as i opened the box the green led was blinking. I think nothing of it wipe the device,update to 10.2.1 and switch devices. After all that led still blinks. Get on the phone with verizon no luck fixing the issue so they send me another replacement. So the next morning i wake up and find the replacement i have only charges to 60%. So next day i get the second replacement from them and still led blinking so i get on the phone and have them send me another replacement. Third replacement which i got today after a wipe and software update it is still blinking and wont go past 60%. the second replacement i am updating right now to see if that has the exact same issue. but does this even make sense that i have three z30's in my position all with the same issue. I have used a wall charger and charging off my usb cable via laptp and still wont go over 60%.


    o and off topic but if someone in central new jersey has a verizon q10 for sale please pm me.

    There is a thread on this topic but it's hard to believe there is this many phones with this problem , it might be the os but you would have to load a leak to see if it fixes.

    yea thats what i was thinking. i cant imagine all of these phones have a problem. im gonna mess with it more tomorrow and hopefully find a working one. gonna try a leak to.

    well updated two of the ones i had to .2947 and still have a flashing green led and wont go past 60%. i have officall given up think its time to just change to a different device until the Q20.

    That is almost an impossible scenario....i have the z30 and it's been flawless. We also have units at work, and I hear nothing but praise. Something must be up like a certain non BlackBerry App or something.

    Wow this is unreal, I wonder if totally draing the battery to 0 if it would reset things.

    Also try a hard reset with it plugged into the wall.

    Try to charge your phone, and after it goes to maximum charge (whatever the battery indicator number is), pull the plug, and replug again. Your phone should start charging for a minute or two and it would show that the battery is fully charged again. The pull the plug again, and replug. Do it a couple of times. Maybe 5. This solved the battery indicator problem for me.

    On another note there is a thread in the leaks forums and it's the SIC wipe method, if you don't mind spending a few more minutes you should go and read about it and try it, there might be something left on your phone even after a normal wipe , and the SIC wipe put it right back to totally empty then you load the auto loader you want, I did it on my device and it actually made mine run smoother than it already was,, just an ideas for you.

    Reading all of these makes me cross my fingers that mine never acts up. That is complete non sense for VZW or anyone to keep replacing phones with bad refurbished phones. Seems there is something amiss at the refurb place.

    This seems to be a known VZN issue. You are the 4th person I know of that have had multiple refurbished units sent to them with the EXACT same issue.

    The solution is to firmly demand a brand new in the box phone.

    It wouldn't surprise me that the place where they are refurbishing and refreshing the phones has a bug in the software they are putting on the phones. I know this seems counter intuitive but if the hardware is the same this may be the issue?

    Dont charge the phone with your laptop. Use supplied walla charger or Playbook charger if you have. When I use my Z10 walla charger (100ma less output power) it takes 4+ hrs to charge.

    He'll I've gone to bed once at 2am and up at 630-7 am and battery is at 93%. Z30 has a very large battery.

    We have the same luck dealing with Verizon. I am on my 3rd Z30. The first one, new, had a problem with the earpiece. It was replaced with a refurb which did not charge past 60%. It was replaced with another refurb which at first didn't charge past the 60% which I fixed, but now red LED blinks.

    I fixed the charge by turning the phone completely off and letting it charge to full. Then turn back on. Did the trick for me. I am asking for a new phone on Monday as the refurbs have cost me too much time and trouble.

    Yes well I gave up today guys. And went and got a S5. I don't live it but it will work until the Q20 comes out. I couldn't deal with the cap anymore. And I broke balls for hours trying to get them to send me a new device and they wouldn't so I caved and got the edge program. But as soon as the new Q20 is out I will be first in line. I miss the hub already.

    That sucks. Someone should bring this to BBRY's attention. It's bad enough not many are buying but now we have people who want it and love it but give up because there is something wrong in whoever's refurb process.

    Yeah the dropped the ball the z30 is the best phone I ever had. I can't wait for the Q20 to come out I want my blackberry back. I may need to get a Q10 for my work line now like I was planning.
