    Some of you would know that the z10 keyboard can be accessed at any point in just about any app by just swiping two fingers up from the bottom bezel.

    It would be awesome if BlackBerry 10 could automatically open up the search when on the home screen so I can efficiently 'BBM', 'Tweet' etc. Just like on the Q10!

    How about you guys!?

    Hello and Welcome to the Forums. I'm not sure what you mean. I have the search function on my Z10, but not the Q10 homescreen. I'll post pics of both in a second.

    On the Q10, if your on the home screen, you can immediately 'bbm' or 'tweet' quickly by typing them in on the keyboard.

    The Z10, you've gotta fire up the search app.

    Just requesting to bring the same functionality when I access the z10 virtual keyboard by swiping up two fingers from the bottom bezel which brings up the keyboard.

    Ok, now I think I understand. I think that tapping the search icon is the same no? I'm still struggling to see how they can make it easier?

    Pressing that search icon on the bottom of the screen does the same thing..
    I don't think there's any easier way than that
