I don't see why BlackBerry would not be screaming it from the rooftops if BB10 is live in China?

Couple of days ago had a meeting with CU (China Unicom), and confirmed is:
    - Z10 comes in May
    - Z10 "must" be cheaper in China, compared to CA, US and EU - usually devices here are are bit more expensive.
The idea is to "push" the market, as BlackBerry (ex RIM) has really tiny market share - ~100-200K out of over 1 billion mobile subscribers, which is a shame.
    - Q10: no plans to be introduced officially in China, yet - shame

The reason why BB has never been so successfull in china was because BIS was super expensive.

now with the Z10, BIS wouldnt be needed longer anymore. Anybody using a Z10 in China?

I even do not want to talk about shame of what's RIM doing in China.Everybody sees that.
I have been a BBer since 2003, RIM only gave me hope and disappoint me in the end.
Blackberry you need to do much more!!! How can you ignore the demand of the largest mobile device cusumption country!!!
what I have been seen is all for EU and North America. we don't need facebook,twitter,skype...we need localised app, so far, I have found none!!!

I can say that based on what is in the new Z10, they got a very competitive device / OS for the Chinese/ HK / Taiwan market. The language input, particularly hand wiring recognition, is same if not better than iOS. They also got some new staff in China. So it wouldn't surprise me that they are looking to hit the Chinese market.
