Been using the latest software for a couple of days; all I can say is the Z10 is now the phone it should have been on release!

Update via Mega was simple and everything now runs butter smooth. Great refresh for the system. Biggest improvement for me is battery life. With Battery Saving mode set to cut in at 45%, battery life now exceeds my needs. Taking it off charge at 7am, I would do well to get 12 hours. Yesterday, at midnight I still had 25%.

The biggest problem for BlackBerry is this upgrade has delayed any need for me to buy a new phone!

Agree with you on the performance of the Z10 on the latest leak, however, my primary reason for upgrading when the time comes is a bigger screen. I can hardly wait for my current contract to expire in another couple of months. I love the Passport!

The beauty of blackberry OS 10 is that older phones continue to get better as Blackberry continuously improves the OS in both features and performance...

I still use my z10 as backup to my main driver my awesome Passport... i rarely use my other backup my iPhone 5 too.. blackberry OS is just too awesome....

BlackBerry OS 10 has come such a long way... can't imagine where if will be a year from now!!

So far the leak is good, no lags but a few apps show black screen for a few seconds or so when run (both android and BlackBerry apps) but does not bother me too much. My battery life has been average but should get better as I have turned off all advanced interactions (testing feature, not much use to me to be honest) Adobe Acrobat not letting me open any forms, shows corrupted file. Other than that all is good with software

I don't see a problem for BlackBerry considering they have not worked on a replacement device, at least to our knowledge, since the Z10 was even released. Keep enjoying your device!

This is the link I used. Download the file, unzip it and run the autoloader.

Backup first so you can reload any files you want, and you'll have to reset or adjust any settings to your preferences. Your apps will be downlable from BBW.

It was a tiny little bit laggy for a few hours until the OS settled down but is now truly like a brand new BlackBerry experience, with Battery life transformed
