I see for those who have VERIZON like myself are feeling pretty frustrated that such a carrier doesn't support stream, I would like to encourage you all to write to this man who is on the board of directors at VERIZON.

consumers is what makes their wallets fat, strength in numbers!

Oh! one more thing, here's the address:

    Shaygan Kheradpir
Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer
    1095 Avenue of the Americas
    New York, NY 10036

I'm NOT a 100% sure if the board of directors reside at this corporate office but this is the actual corporate office address.

I would encourage anyone to write if you are a VERIZON customer with a formal letter head, be very professional in your content, with out rude remarks, who is going to help you if they don't like you. Express your concern calmly, rationally and I'm sure he would be more inclined to take action.

I just got a 8320 recently with t-mobile. I tried to view videos, when i click on the one i want i select open when prompt to either open or save. When the video fully downloads, i get a error message that says error trying to render.

    What does that mean?
Do i need any special software?

When I download videos on my 8320, the playback size of the video is small. Checking "full screen" from options does not help. Is there a setting I can adjust to get full screen playback on my curve?
    Thanks, in advance

    Me too. Bummer.

On the plus side, though -when I got there on my desktop PC, I can get YouTube videos at work. Somehow it bypasses my workplace filters! LOL!

    Hey guys, first post.
When I try to watch videos on my AT&T 8300, I get messages saying the file is too large. I can only watch 10sec clips. I don't have a SD card yet, does that matter for viewing large videos over the net?

From what I can tell, it is not a streaming video problem or a problem with Verizon. The problem is that an 8830 will only play .MP4 format videos so perhaps a different video player (that converts to .mp4 on the fly) or a plugin for the browser would solve the issue.

I still have to experiment with Bluetooth, streaming audio, .pdf files, and certain JAVA apps.; a plugin for flash would also rock!
