    Not sure if this has been posted or talked about. But I was on m.youtube.com earlier and noticed the HD option for videos. I just tested it out on 3G and it looks exactly as if it was straight off the computer.

    Seen that when the hd option came out for youtube its kinda cool video takes a little longer to load though

    I would think in this case it's still scaled very small. They are probably using HD to mean it's not so compressed it's painful to watch. Like any other YouTube video I've ever seen on a mobile that is.

    Yeah its pretty good quality. And I think it depends if the uploader recorded in HD format.

    Basically, does it playback actual HD video, but just display it small because of the screen (generally meaning 720+)? If so that's pretty worthless.

    Or is it just "hd" in terms of not-crap mobile quality.
