I would try a battery pull first, if that doesn't help, looks like you may have to do a software reload

I'm not even sure to be honest.

What happens when you press the trackball?
When I move the trackball it just scales across the screen across tellow icons where the regular icons should be.

See if you can reboot in to safemode, take the battery out, and then when you put it back in hold the back button while it's rebooting, this will cause it to go in to safemode. Make sure default zen theme is selected.

EDIT: Then battery pull again to go back to regular mode

Holding the back button while it's booting up after a pull. So pull the battery, THEN hold the back button, the curved arrow, and put the battery back in, keep holding the back arrow as the device is booting up. This makes it enter a special safe mode and often it WILL work even when you are having problems. At that point go in to your Options, Themes. and then select Default Zen Theme.

    What exactly did you do?
Did you have an OS version installed?

I do not remember seeing (carrier) themes on AppLoader and DM during OS updates... Maybe this is a case for BBSAK or Blackberry Master Control Program?
