I downloaded the yahoo messenger off of the blackberry website and it downloaded fine, pulls up on my phone fine but when I go to sign in the error message reads : "Service not enable for this handheld". I have a Pearl 8100, how do I fix this?

I finally was able to download Yahoo Messenger but once downloaded and saved the file, it said "The item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to save the item? and I chose "Yes" but cannot open the file. I feel so stupid, please tell me what I did wrong?

You need to hold on while we help the OP with his/her problem. It gets confusing when 2 people are asking 2 different questions. It's called "hijacking a thread", maybe you should read this while you wait or try using the search function to help you out.
