    how come everytime i get a sms message from my wife it has [X] and then the message she sent me, is it because we are on a family plan, it dosent do that when anyone else sends me a message

    Does she have a regular VZ phone? Most likely she does and is inserting an animated smiley. My wife sends me messages with the smileys and my Curve doesn't recognize 'em.

    Yeah, bbs don't support ems messaging, which is what an sms message from verizon becomes when a graphic is inserted
