Look at the Internet application on the leaked windows 8.1.

Sure looks a lot like BB10 Internet UI
    Thoughts?

Yeah you're right, it does look pretty close.
Wonder where you access tabs, overflow menu maybe?

To be fair, once you decided you want the address bar at the bottom, there aren't really that many layout options available.

Hard to tell without knowing what their context menu holds (the three dots). About the rest of the page: of cours it looks similar, that is just the way mobile sites are formatted. There is only so much design difference you can have on a page containing only an address bar.

Well everyone is copying from everyone... Nothing you can do about it
Even if they copy the looks. BB10 browser still banishes Windows 8.1 browser to other dimension

True, it's just weird that it looks so close to the BlackBerry browser.

Meh... everyone "borrows" from everyone else.

WP8.1 is supposedly getting a proper notification erm "hub"... meanwhile, WP's "Live Tiles" become BB10's "Active Frames".

It's all a game really, and one I'm glad they're all playing because the real winners are us consumers who get increasingly feature-rich phones on every OS platform.

Windows started using that UI during windows mobile 7. The browser on my samsung focus looks similar to that.

You are wrong! BB10 copied it from WP because WP had this UI long before BB10 (and before WP8 actually).

Those pictures figure new build in video player functionality (youtube web), not (new) UI.

Agree with everyone else, Blackberry copied Microsoft with this (frankly OP, I think the thread title deserves a change). IE has been like this for a while, but there are a lot of improvements that I'm very excited about, especially the way the YouTube website works (prior to now, it behaved like iOS where it took you to a video player and you couldn't browse while playing a video). Frankly, the entire update has me excited, just check out what devs found from 24 hours with the SDK. There's way more stuff that the devs just haven't found yet, plus the consumer related stuff (like the revamped notification +action center). Check out a sample of everything (yes a sample) here Developers leak new features included in Windows Phone 8.1 SDK | Windows Phone Central

I don't care what it looks like, it's from Microsoft so it's still probably slow as molasses.

That has been there since Windows Phone 7.5

And Mobile IE is actually one of the fastest browsers out there.
