That could be the classic, I think it may be too early for them to bring back tool belt, with gestures and all, which they have to rework, and get this thing out of the door before Q3 ends.

What comes to mind is a device they used for R&D. And the final cut was what we have now...Q10.

    Just my opinion..

With the red leltters/numbers, and curved line between the keyboard and screen, it looks more like the Bold 9000 keyboard. Just my .02

Leaving off the trackpad from any rev of hardware would not help them to get the device out of the door quicker, it would slow things up.

This device is mostly likely some random prototype from well before the q10.

That think looks awesome! Looks very solid, and with that thickness it must have a huge battery.

I actually miss having the numbers in red on my Q10 keyboard - makes it just that little bit easier to find.

Yeah. Me too. Talk about "Blast from the Past". But, if it ever becomes available(later) on BB XX OS, I'll look at it.

is no one going to mention the keys? They're continuous all the way across.

I wonder how this would have changed the typing experience. I also wonder if this somehow implemented some sort of touch recognition on the keyboard.

Also, are they rubberized? I can't imagine how badly they'd wear if they were.
