Anybody else excited about Skype being made available on your phone? Would you use it? I've got tons of family in England so I'm pretty pumped!

I've used Skype for years on my computer. I can't wait for it to become available for my phone... I don't call a lot of people, but the instant messaging that Skype has is pretty good.

I've been using it since it came out. Sometimes I have meetings (on a global team) and it's nice to not be tied to the desktop. It seems to work pretty well.

If this works while roaming on a different carrier outside of the US, a lot of people (myself included) will jump ship to Verizon. For $150/month for an unlimited minutes, unlimited domestic and international data plan + $12.95/month for Skype's best plan, I would be able to call any US number at no additional charge, no matter if I'm in Brussels or Tokyo or wherever, calls to other Skype users would be at no additional charge, and calls to European or Asian mobile phones would be approximately $0.30/min, instead of the $1-$3/min I'm currently charged when overseas.

It's almost too good to be true.

Yes, but unfortunately not on our BlackBerries. I have it on two Nokias and it works on WiFi, which is the cat's meow.

I like to video Skype. We wont be able to it on our phone because we don't have a forward facing camera. If I have to sit with my phone charging it defeats to point. I would rather just use a computer then. Over all I Skype with my girlfriend and like it.

Used it for about 3 months on my PC and hated it. Can't imagine a better
experience on the BB, especially considering there is no BB with a front facing camera

Thought I was alone... found other web based clients to be better quality.

I already use Skype on my computer so having it on my phone would be a good addition but as others have mentioned our BBs don't have a secondary camera. I use Skype primarily to do video calls.

I've been using it on my Nokia E51 and E71 and they work excellent with the official Skype app even on 3G.
I used Skype over Fring before that since 2007 which was decent as well.
