Just curious, have you checked out the Passport yet? Sincerely what are your thoughts.. Thanks.
I haven't seen it in person, no. Last Wednesday I did load 10.3 on my Q10 and reverted to 10.2 because I didn't like how 10.3 displayed on the Q. Then Link wouldn't restore the backup I'd made. Since I kept all my passwords in Password Keeper I had to manually reset all my passwords to every account I had saved. That's where I stand, at an impasse.

I will see the Passport when my ex gets it. I won't be buying it, though.

Given that we now know some facts (but not all the facts) about Passport and we sort of know the rumored specs about the iPhone 6, would you be willing to buy the Passport at the equivalent price as the iPhone 6 when both phones launch in a few months?
Assume that the iPhone 6 sells for above $799 unsubsidized.

Personally, I would buy the Passport at the same retail price as iPhone 6 because of the purported "revolutionary keyboard ".

No. $599 is a solid price for the Passport.

Passport is in a class of its own. Battery life just awesome. 10.3 is superlative. Emails extremely friendly and advanced, square screen suits my needs. With due respect to Iphone6 users is a toy for me. I will prefer to buy a DSLR camera for getting better pictures than using a iPhone 6 for that matter.

I would pay that for a passport before I ever paid that for an iPhone 6 because of innovation and build quality but I would rather not pay $800 for any phone.

On contract u are still paying for the 800 dollar phone but are paying monthly instead upfront.

thats not really true. pay your $200 up front and that is it. You pay your monthly bill but its all phone service and not the phone. Some companies do allow you to pay monthly and with nothing up front

But its is true. I can keep my 55$ per month plan or I can get the passport for 249$ and pay 85 $ per month for two year (required for the subsidized 249$ price)

but not all companies are like that. Many would allow you to pay 249 up front and then agree to pay the $55 a month for 24 months and that is it

Because the passport gives you ACTUAL updated hardware whereas the iphone 6 is charging you the price of today's phone for 200s's technology.

Isheep are idiots for paying top dollar for garbage...

When I complained about my Z10's battery life, people told to "Oh my god, get a battery pack and get a life. They cost like $10, etc."

And now I look on here, "3 DAYS OF BATTERY LIFE TOOLS NOT TOYS ISHEEP EVERYWHERE"

I would, simply because I buy phones because I like them, not because which one is cheaper and which one is more for social status.

People would if Blackberry could get away with charging an iPhone price for one of their phones. Actually maybe they wouldn't as the sales of the Z10 and Q10 show otherwise at their initial launch.

Nope. First I don't like keyboard phones and second I don't like the Passport.

It's really a moot point since I'll never buy an Apple product. (Aside from maybe a new iPod nano when my current gen3 nano dies).

I would pay more for a reliable software ecosystem than a brand name. Would you pay for a junk, plastic phone? Never.
