Did they remove it from BlackBerry 10?

Yes, it appears that they have indeed removed it.

If you are on 10.2.1, and have Snap, the Android APK version of WordPress works decently.

Seems like they've removed it. Oddly enough though, if you download the Android version from Snap and go into the settings, it'll say "WordPress for BlackBerry" there, as if the APK has provisions in it for BlackBerry 10.

Maybe they're planning to resubmit this version to BlackBerry World?

Dunno. The "official" WordPress Android port for PlayBook crashes when I try to load it... it's unusable at this point. I had installed the Android port to my Z10 using Snap, but I got rid of it when I tried out the native version that's in development. (Yes, what's on GitHub is a native app, but the feature parity isn't there yet. You can only set up one blog, there's no rich text editor and no advanced functionality. But it's improving).

Thank you! I had to wipe my phone, and when I reinstalled the OS, the WP app disappeared from my list of available apps. It's always worked fine for me, so I'm very happy to have it back.

I recently did a clean install of 10.2.1 on my daily driver and when I not only could not find the app on the phone, but neither was it in my "Available" apps nor anywhere in BlackBerry World, I started to think I was going nuts or something.

Something is going on over there. Take a look at their mobile app page as it looks now:

    WordPress › Mobile

Then see what it looked like on March 1:

    https://web.archive.org/web/20140301...ss.org/mobile/

Based on the Wayback Machine's archive, it looks like that change was made about March 4th.

Lo-and-behold, look what they posted on March 6th:

Which is of course why they posted on March 6th this year that they were looking specifically for developers to write a new BB10 app.

This was what I already posted above.

I wish we could have a native app, I even stopped blogging since I don't find it comfortable to do it through that Android port when we, the BB10 user have such a wonderful platform to have all types of apps. By the way, has anybody tried Fastpress? Looks interesting... I think I'll give it a try...

When I last looked at Fastpress, it came across as extremely rudimentary to me. I'm not even sure it was able to support an SSL connection.

And also the review reads that it's not possible to upload pictures unless you grab the picture url which is not very practical... my God, some dev please, do something!!!

Guessing that official beta app has been retired now? I haven't been able to sign on to my blog using it and have resorted to using the Android app which works decently but has a bit of lag/hiccups here and there.
