Right so I bought a blackberry curve 3G yesterday and linked it to the house wireless internet which i am also running my laptop on.
But whenever the blackberry is connected my internet keeps disconnecting on and off on the laptop, sometimes i get a little pop up saying there is a IP conflict.
someone help this is soooooooo annoying

Try restarting your modem/router while wifi is active and connected on boh the bb, and the laptop...

Sounds like your router is trying to assign the same IP adress to both devices. You will have to do some searching to change either the router, or PC's settings from using static IP addresses

I have think i have fixed the problem, I am using a PPPoE type of configuration so i assigned the device MAC to a specific ip address on the network thankyou for the help

it seems like that was just luck im still having the same problem, i dont know why my blackberry is interfering with my laptops wifi
