I received an email today from supposedly Blackberry stating I had to log on and enter my windows live password in order to be able to retrieve my hotmail messages with my BB. It said this has to be done every 90 days. Is this for real?

Yea. It's like that with any email you integrate into your berry. With my mac mail they needed the password. It's how they securely push the email to you I believe. Every 90 days is just msn's policy to know if the account is active or not. Just like when you log into your email on a pc. It has to be done every 30 days I think, to keep your account active.

I receive my hotmail on my Curve everyday and never had to enter my password, except when I set up the email on the BIS.
