No. Checked out the Priv and was very disappointed. Too expensive and cheap feeling compared to other offerings. They still don't get it nor my money. Loving my M9.

Yes but only because I love the BB10 OS. I already have Android and iOS devices, so when I need an app I am good. But as my daily driver and all else, I love BB10 - Hub, Peak, the Flow, gestures, BLEND!!!, calendar. That said navigation on Android Lollipop is much improved.

The Playbook OS got me hooked. I still love the bridge and remote control with the BB phones

Yes I would. I would get the Priv beacuse I need some apps for my work which don't work on my Q10. The Priv has Android so the app will work. Even though I have the Play Store installed in my Q10, most of the apps crash, don't open or it doesn't fit in my screen. But I would still wait to see what BlackBerry will come up this year.

If it will be interesting enough! I had Z10, Q10, Passport. I returned to Q10. Passport wasn't practical for me. But it is obvious it is a great peace of device by characteristics! Next interesting device for me would be Passport with 3,5 to 4" display with the same platform. It would fine to operate with one hand. It would be nice to keep the same camera and battery to be 3000mAh at least! Huh!?

With BlackBerry letting OS 10 die and focusing 100% on horrible Android: not any more.

Nope, not in the next 2+ years. I really like my Samsung S6. Had Blackberry offered the same hardware at the same value, I would have purchased the BlackBerry...

I really really want a Priv. The only reason I don't have one is the high cost in a terrible Alberta economy lol. Maybe one of these newly announced mid range devices will be closer to my price range. BB10 is just in bad shape on my passport.

I really like my Classic. In a year I'll get another Classic. After that, BB10 will probably be limping along on life support, so who knows. I'd totally keep buying Blackberry, but they aren't interested in the consumer market anymore.

Moved away from BlackBerry from a Z10 to an iPhone 6 Plus well over a year ago and have missed OS10. Have ordered a Passport SE in the recent sale. There's loads to be disappointed about with BlackBerry but I still have too much love to let it go.

The question is will they still be making them in a year?

Actually you're right, I doubt that the Classic will still be in production in a year. If it looks like they're becoming scarce, I'll snag one before then.

Or you could always get a used off eBay or somewhere. It's not like they'll fall off the face of the earth, but I would worry it would continue to fully function (loss of apps, support) after a while.

I actually enjoyed the Classic while I had it, I just can't get myself to invest in one again because of the above points.

No, I have been loyal since the blackberry quark (6230). I have owned practically every model since and I am currently using the Passport. The phone is great but the company as a whole is deterring me from staying. I have never owned any other smartphone since BB worked for me. It provided me with the ability to manage all my emails that are crucial to my livelihood.

However, as good as the Passport is it does have its bugs. For example; double typing & the inability to stay awake when being hand held even when the option is turned on are a few issues that can be fixed with an official OS release. In other words, the lack of internal support for existing customers is what's driving me away.

Aside from software the build for the Passport is solid but the overlooking of how the screen is attached is another problem. Screen lift, light bleeding & dust getting trapped under the screen is a known issue. The build for the Priv is disappointing.

I would stay if BB would dedicate time and effort to current BB10 customers. I know if does not make sense on the business end due to its market share. However, neglecting the loyal customers will only increase your competitors numbers.

    Just my 2 cents...
