will be there update on OS7 so I won't need BIS on bold 9900? Or BIS won't be necessary on OS10 (if it is true, that it won't be necessary on OS10).

That won't happen because it means that service fee revenues will be immediately gone. The company would not survive that.

Probably won't happen to rid OS 7 from BIS but since the topic is here... does anyone think OS 7 will still get OS updates in general over the time to come? maybe through June?

No, they will not be getting rid of BIS on any BBOS devices, and yes, there will be updates as in many places, the legacy OS is still a huge seller and won't go away any time soon.
