I had wifi on my Bold, don't miss it at all with my Storm. It appears that the Storm 2 will have wifi only?
I know I'd miss the gps as I use it almost daily.

If they have it on the Storm, I don't see why they would remove this from the Storm 2.

I feel pretty safe saying that the Storm 2 definitely has GPS.

Almost all of the Verizon phones use gpsONE, which is normally locked to VZ Navigator only. This question is whether the GPS will be unlocked (i.e. use with Google maps) or be locked to Verzion and emergency only.

As for the OP, I would assume that the Storm 2 won't trade GPS for WiFi but instead WiFi will be added to the device.

I just joined the forum in information about the Storm 2, and was not aware. I plan to replace my current phone with the storm 2.

I hope it does because I plan on getting the storm 2, but GPS and wifi are a must. I regret getting the 8220 because of its lack of GPS where as the 8230 has wifi and GPS
