All indications are if approved Sprint will be purchasing T-Mobile, but allowing T-Mobile's CEO Legere to stay on as CEO of the merged companies. With the history of BlackBerry and Legere combined with Sprint barely supporting BlackBerry 10, IMO it's doubtful.

I expect it will be delayed no longer than usual. They still have customer service evaluations and goals to meet.

It would seem their 'customer service evaluation and goals' are measured by how many customers they can convert to IOS/Android no? How many BBOS remain on contract anyway..last I saw mentioned here was something south of 50k and Tmob added 2.4 million subscribers last quarter.

Eventually they will, but you can leave the "timely fashion" out of the equation, as it's BlackBerry that they will be dealing with.

They will probably allocate only one person to do all the Blackberry testing, while multiple people will be assigned to the other platforms.

And of course it will be done only after they have tested all the other devices.

And maybe after another month or two of dragging their feet, they will finally give the go ahead for 10.3, long after the other carriers have released it.

I am on T Mobile USA and I honestly believe that they want nothing to do with the brand here anymore. I think over time they will weed out what few Blackberry devices that exist on their network and the ones that still want to remain will do so at their own risk.

Meaning that T Mobile will not invest their resources by testing any future updates and Blackberry would have to eventually support what users remain on the network.

Based on what I have seen here in the last year, the USA is now 99.9 % Android and IOS devices and having a Blackberry device here is like having a older Palm Pilot device. That's the reality of the situation here and I don't see it changing any time soon.

Guess we have to wait and see. I've been assured by T-Mobile that official OS releases will go through if they are provided with them.

I sure hope the Sprint thing doesn't go through regardless. I really can't stand them. Besides there needs to be 4 companies. Hope this deal is killed like the AT&T merger was.

I've gotten great support from TMO on my BlackBerry and even for a Q5 bought unlocked off eBay as well. They don't care what phone you have. They want to get rid of what they contractually must but at the end of the day they just want post paid customers.

Keep in mind that as much negative things that people are saying about T-Mobile's relationship with BlackBerry, they were still the first carrier to push 10.2 out to their customers. Having said that, I do believe that T-Mobile will continue to get updates out to it's BlackBerry users so we can look forward to 10.3 on the horizon....maybe even before Verizon, ATT and Sprint.
