    The perceived value of BBM went up as Facebook paid a ton of money for that service and its 450 million users.

    Facebook is an important tool for the NSA .They now have a backdoor access ( with the help of facebook) to millions of messages etc around the world.

    Facebook and whatsapp roll into one, all the info from your PC and now you can add all phone contact info. Not that they didn't have it already, but why not make it easier. Lol

    I am actually curious to see how this all works out. Will Facebook and whatsapp remain separate. Will whatsapp take over as Facebook's messaging service. Will you now be required to have Facebook if you want to use whatsapp? Just curios I'd they'll remain separate or what level of integration there will be.
