Hey guys,
I'm new to the site, but I've frequented for support and BB knowledge. I am on the Cellular South network, and have recently erm... "washed" my pearl down the drain. I bought an 8703 that is in the mail, because of the price, and I'm hoping I won't regret it. Anyone had both of the phones and care to share their thoughts

The 8703 is a tough device with a full qwerty keyboard. It will be easier to type. Now the bad.....that device currently doesnt support 4.5 OS. The newest OS for that device I know of is 4.2.1.110 which doesnt support HTML email that I know of. No camera. No micro SD slot. It has 64mb of memory same as the pearl though. So it basically depends on what you actually use the device for. its not a bad device just might be a step backwards for you.

is this going to be a long term option? or just to hold you over for a while? if long term long as you do not use a lot of multimedia you will be fine but if you like that and will probably miss your trackball.
