When I say Bold, I mean its BB10 successor, most likely the N-Series. It seems like the L-Series is getting WAY more attention than it's physical QWERTY counterpart. Is RIM making the full touchscreen devices the face of BlackBerry? I'm just curious as to what the community thinks. It seems like RIM is focusing more on direct competition with iOS, Android, and WP8 by matching its upcoming BB10 device lineup with the latest trends in hardware design. This is all purely speculation. No "analyst" put these thoughts in my head, just to be clear

Sounds about right. Its smart business as that is where the industry is going and they need to focus on it.

I think a big mistake with the OS 7 devices was that they focused far too heavily on the Bold line, a phone that the people who bought it would have gotten regardless. The Torch lines though should have received much more ad money, better display space because to this day when people see my 9860 they can't believe BlackBerry made an all touch non-Storm phone.

Although I prefer the 9900, I do agree that they need to push the touch design 1st.
