will BB's data efficiency see carriers and customers coming back?
Just a random thought I have...
BB's are very data efficient as we all know, do you think that as the smartphone market continues to expand and the need for data becomes higher that carriers will eventually turn back to RIM and push their products more as the need to trim down their network data usage becomes more apparent? On the same note will it see consumers buying BB's in order to keep data costs down (the networks are already raising prices as the demand rises and they slowly run out of supply).
I consider myself a semi-techie, so its possible I'm not right in my thinking but it makes sense to me right now lol

i don't think carriers give a damn
I expect someone in the carrier bidniz would know more, but since the carriers gouge everybody on their data fees, and the high bandwidth multimedia content doesn't compress well, so I feel that the competitive advantage to blackberry's relatively lower bandwidth platform is waning. I hope RIM finds new ways to leverage the carrier-side technology and carrier relationships to customers' benefit.
