    That's what I bought it at and not sure how much longer I should hold it. If the company goes private, with the usual premium, could the stock go above $17? Or am I dreaming? The recent surge in price has me wondering if I should just cut my losses now.

    14$ is most likely fair value. Not sure it will get to 17 unless bidding wars starts.

    There may be a bidding war to buy BlackBerry. But, I personally hope to see a partnership or joint venture.

    As long as there's some speculation of say IBM is enquiring about BB acquisition. There's always a chance. It's the stock market, crazier thing had happened before.

    There is a good chance that it will go that high for a buy out.


    But if nothing materializes on a buy out, don't count on device sales numbers to drive it up there.
